The Westlock Thunderbirds Football Team is a 6-a-side football team based in Westlock, Alberta.
Our team mission is to use the experience of preparing for and competing in High School Football to develop the football skill and aptitude, personal character, and life experience of all team members in the pursuit of excellence.
In 2023 the T-Birds had one of the best seasons they have had in years, with their best win being a 57 - 6 win and a 4W-2L. Check out our highlight reel from our 2023 season done by Justin Skuban from our team here.

Read about our Westlock Thunderbird's Coach Keith Shologan in a special interview with Town and Country here. Keith Shologan earned a Grey Cup ring with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2013 as part of his 10-year pro career. You can now find him on the sidelines as a defensive coach with the Westlock Thunderbirds.
Read more about our Westlock Thunderbird's Calyx Fertuck who played on Team Alberta in 2023. Calyx was Westlock Thunderbird's most valuable player (MVP) from 2022, who hails from Athabasca, and was named to Football Alberta’s Six-A-Side North-West All-Star team in early May and played in the annual game against the South-East team May 21, 2023 in Red Deer.
